Polling is when someone sets up a virtual polling place where peers can rate fellow students on undesirable characteristics; the nerdiest, fattest, ugliest, sluttiest, dumbest, etc
Bash Boards is using online forums to post racist or sexist remarks for gossip
Stealth Pictures is when a person takes intrusive pictures of unsuspecting victims with the intention to post and embarrass the victim online.
Cyberbullying by Proxy is convincing others to initiate any of the previous forms of intentional bullying acts. Then alerting the authorities of the responses of the victim who then punishes them.

-Do not feel they are bullies.
-They feel their actions are justified because they are reacting to being the initial recipient of unwarranted behavior.
-They might view themselves as protecting a friend or loved one from bullies.
-Working alone or sharing their motives, they perceive their actions as appropriate revenge. Their friends see them as the victim, rather than the bully.
Revenge of the Nerds
-Out for power.
-Want to control other with fear.
-Brag to their audience of peers for attention.
-Their desire for attention causes them to escalate their actions to feel more powerful or intimidating.
Inadvertent Bullies
-Do not see themselves as bullies.
-Usually in response to negative messages they received, or they have a false sense of power.
-They do not know the consequences of their actions so they respond without thinking.
-Can be done for fun, because they can, or as a joke.
-Unintentionally harm or abuse someone without realizing how serious the abuse is.
-Tend to work alone and do not feel they are abusers.
Mean Girls (girls are 2x more likely to be victims)
-Typically female.
-The most immature forms of cyberbullying.
-May bully girls more than boys
-Require an audience in social settings like slumber parties or at parties
-Want power and provoke intimidation
-Attention getters fed by group admiration, fear, inaction against them, or cliques.
